5 Reasons Why The European Lifestyle Might Just Be Right For Me


The United States has a lifestyle that’s designed to give you more than you need. We have all kinds of conveniences, but they come at a cost. The European lifestyle is different in many ways, and some Americans are finding that it’s better for them. Here are my top five reasons why I think the European lifestyle might just be right for me:

The European lifestyle is one of the world’s best.

The European lifestyle is one of the world’s best. The average life expectancy in Europe is over 80 years, which is more than two decades longer than Americans. The difference in lifespan could be due to several factors:

  • Europeans have better health care systems and more access to doctors and hospitals than Americans do.
  • They also have lower rates of obesity and smoking–two major causes of death in America–and higher rates of exercise, which helps you stay healthy during old age by reducing stress on your heart and lowering blood pressure levels.
  • Europeans spend less time commuting because they live closer together than we do here in the United States (or move closer together when they’re older). This means they can enjoy their free afternoons doing whatever they want rather than spending hours stuck in traffic every day just trying get home from work or school!

They have a great life expectancy.

The life expectancy in Europe is higher than the US. If you’re looking for a long, healthy life, then Europe might be right for you. A recent study found that Europeans live two years longer than Americans on average. And it’s not just because they have access to better medical care or more nutritious food–it’s also because of their lifestyle choices!

Europeans have more time to spend on hobbies and interests.

They can enjoy their meals without feeling rushed, and they don’t have to worry about getting up early for work the next day.

The European lifestyle also allows people more time to exercise, which helps them stay healthy. They also get more sleep than Americans do–an average of eight hours per night compared with six hours in the U.S., according to National Geographic–which means they wake up feeling refreshed each morning!

They have more time to smell the roses.

The Europeans have more time to smell the roses. They have more time for leisure, which means they can take a walk in the park or explore local museums. They also have more time to spend with family, which is something that’s important for me because I want my children to grow up knowing their grandparents and other relatives.

The European lifestyle gives people the chance to pursue their passions and live out their dreams at a slower pace–and that sounds pretty ideal!

They live longer with less stress.

I’ve always been aware of the connection between stress and health, but when I started looking into it more deeply, I was surprised by how many health problems are caused by stress. In fact, according to a report from the World Health Organization (WHO) published in 2014:

  • Stress is a major cause of heart disease and depression.
  • It’s also linked to digestive issues like ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia and chronic pain disorders can all be caused by long periods of mental or physical fatigue–which means that if you’re feeling tired all the time it might be because your brain has been working overtime trying not to think about how much work needs done!

  • They have better health, longer life expectancy and less stress: People in the Netherlands are known for their good health, which they credit to their healthy diet and active lifestyles (they walk more than anyone else on Earth). They also have a lower risk of heart disease or diabetes than Americans do. Overall life expectancy in Europe is higher than that in America–and this has been true for decades now! This means that you’ll likely live longer if you choose to move there.
  • They have more time to smell the roses: Europeans spend fewer hours working each week than Americans do; they work fewer days per year overall too (about 240 days compared with 260 here). With less time spent at work every day–and with no commute!–you may find yourself able to enjoy some leisurely walks through nature while breathing fresh air without worrying about being late back home again because traffic jams tend not exist over there either!


The European lifestyle is one of the world’s best. They have a great life expectancy, they are healthier than Americans and they have more time to smell the roses. The only downside is that they don’t have as much money as Americans but if you can get past that then there is no reason why this lifestyle wouldn’t work for anyone!
